Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. While working as an assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office worldwide. Handprints, signatures and footprints were immortalized in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
