Sharni Vison is an Australian American dancer/actor, was born on July 22 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, she was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her performance in the limited role was so fascinating that the agent who cast the show requested to cast her in the major roles in the series. She auditioned, but she did not win the part. In the same episode, Cassie Turner was cast to play a troubled teenage girl in foster-care. Fans and critics alike praised the role.
