Born on October 18, 1984 American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired won four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She holds the second-highest super score of any skier either female or male. She is the best skier ever and the is the most well-known throughout the United States. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States known as Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. Four times she has been crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is one of the most well-known athletes throughout American the history of sports. She is the only six female athletes who won all five alpine skiing World Cup events. In total, she's won more than the 82 World Cup titles. She is the best skier of all time, and most successful American racer of all time in skiing has announced her retirement following their participation in the World Championship in Sweden. The four-time World Cup overall champion decided to take a break following numerous health issues. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. In the coming week, I'll be racing in my last races in my professional career at the Downhill World Championships, as well as at the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
