Four times she has been crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is one of the most well-known athletes throughout American the history of sports. She is the only six female athletes who won all five alpine skiing World Cup events. In total, she's won more than the 82 World Cup titles. She is the best skier of all time, and most successful American racer of all time in skiing has announced her retirement following their participation in the World Championship in Sweden. The four-time World Cup overall champion decided to take a break following numerous health issues. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media.
